Подозреваемый в совершении теракта в Манчестере 22-летний Салман Абеди прилетел в Великобританию из Турции за четыре дня до преступления, по пути остановившись в Германии, пишет британское издание Financial Times со ссылкой на источник в германской разведке.
По данным газеты, подозреваемый летел из Стамбула в Великобританию с посадкой в Дюссельдорфе. Издание, ссылаясь на турецкого чиновника, также сообщает, что правительство Турции в среду направило британским властям данные, касающиеся самого Абеди. Другой информации чиновник не сообщил. Издание отмечает, что Стамбул также мог быть транзитной точкой.
В то же время немецкая газета Der Tagesspiegel со ссылкой на данные спецслужб страны ранее сообщила о том, что подозреваемый за четыре дня до преступления прилетел в Манчестер из Дюссельдорфа через Прагу.
Между тем, Анкара не получала предупреждений от европейских стран, поэтому турецкие власти еще в Стамбуле не задержали Салмана Абеди, передает агентство Рейтер со ссылкой на чиновников из служб безопасности Турции. Как сообщает агентство, записей о том, что в ходе своих поездок Абеди посещал Сирию, не было. Как сообщили агентству чиновники, в ходе своих путешествий он сначала направился в Европу, затем в “третью страну”, название которой не уточняется, после этого — в Турцию и затем — в Европу. Отмечается, что “третья страна” — не Сирия.
По словам чиновников, турецкие власти не получали предупреждение от европейский властей, поэтому Абеди было разрешено выехать из Турции в Европу.
Теракт в Манчестере стал вторым терактом в Британии за два месяца. Он произошел вечером 22 мая в комплексе “Манчестер Арена” во время концерта американской певицы Арианы Гранде. Подрыв осуществил смертник Салман Абеди. По последним данным, погибли 22 человека, в том числе 12 детей, 75 человек остаются в больнице, из них 23 — в критическом состоянии. Несколько человек считаются пропавшими без вести. Ответственность за теракт взяла на себя террористическая группировка ДАИШ, запрещенная в ряде стран мира.
